BACKGROUND

Most recently self employed. Last corporate position held was at CGI Training & Learning Services, providing business technology training and web content to many Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. Helped develop comprehensive, customer-focused solutions as well as instructor-led and technology-based training for technical skills, popular desktop applications and customized training tailored to a customer’s specific software application. Partnered with CGI clients to solve their training needs, including increasing classroom utilization, project management, curriculum development and training administration. MOUS Certified.

Along with over 15 years of corporate training and education, there is a wide range of experience that includes all facets of training consultation and courseware development knowledge of web design, web site creation and consultation.

EXPERIENCE

IMAGINATIVE CONSULTING AND TRAINING (self-employed) – (2003-present)
ICAT's mission is to provide quality web sites and training at a professional level. ICAT gives training on Windows operating systems and a myriad of software applications for both the novice and experienced user, and gives a person or small business the opportunity to have a web site available on the Internet.

TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR, BURNTSAND/ICAT (contracted to Compaq/HP) – (2000- present)
Teaching and training to Compaq/HP employees on their specific software. This includes, but is not limited to QUEST, AshWin, and sysADMIRAL. Also lead classes and training in Business Objects, MS Outlook 2K, PhotoShop and Web application software, HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks to the Compaq Inline team. Also, created content for their intranet and Flash WBT tutorials.

TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR, CGI/BURNTSAND/ICAT (contracted to Shell/Pennzoil) – (2000-2006)
Instructing Shell/Pennzoil employees on Microsoft Office software. This included Word 97/2K, Excel 97/2K, Access 97/2K, PowerPoint 97/2K, HTML and FrontPage 2K.

TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR, CGI (contracted to BP) – (2000-2003)
Teaching and training to BP/AMOCO employees on BP specific software rollout. This includes, but is not limited to Windows 2000, Outlook 2000, Word 2000 and Excel 2000. 

PRIOR EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

INSTRUCTOR, COMPUSA – (1996-2000)
Taught a variety of software and advance technical programs in dedicated training center and in offsite corporate environments to business clients. Consistently maintained highest ratings in student evaluations.

TRAINING & MARKETING, TQM SYSTEMS/SUNDANCE – (1993-1996)
Facilitated training of TQM personnel on how to utilize laptop computers. Taught the team Windows, customized TQM order entry database and ACT! Developed a supplemental In-Bound Telemarketing training program for retail personnel.

NATIONAL MARKETING MANAGER, SPORT SOLUTIONS– (1988-1993)
Utilized desktop publishing applications, using MS Publisher and PageMaker, to create monthly promotions, direct mailers, display advertising and completed sales pricing books for the customers. Designed and coordinated artwork and text for magazine ads and private labeling for product dispensing system.
